STEVENS Supports Our Veterans

STEVENS is a proud participant in the Helmets to Hardhats program, which connects us with retired and transitioning military service members who have skills and experience related to the construction industry.

We are pleased to assist our military service members as they transition into civilian life through apprenticeship training and mentoring, helping lead to a stable, productive career.

The Helmets to Hardhats program is designed to help service members in the military successfully transition back into a civilian lifestyle by providing the opportunity to secure a high-quality career within the construction industry.

The three main reasons we see military service members take advantage of Helmets to Hardhats include:

  • The veteran does not pay a single penny for Federally approved apprenticeship training programs
  • Veterans can use their Montgomery G.I. Bill benefits to supplement their income
  • There is no prior construction experience needed. The apprenticeship (that lasts 3-5 years) full encapsulates all of the information necessary to work in a specialized skilled craft.

From finding jobs, to resume building, to learning about various trades, Helmets to Hardhats is an excellent resource and program for military veterans.

STEVENS is backed by over 75 successful years of quality, experience, and commitment. For veterans that want to join the preferred choice when it comes to construction and industrial engineering, STEVENS welcomes you to join our team. Click to close this window and find opportunities in your state.
